I've gotten a lot done in the past few days, but I'm still diverging from anything that looks like an airplane. Here's the structure as it stands now. I ended up having to take the whole thing apart (even down to the wheels and tires) just to replace the downtubes that had minor abrasions. Since I've got it apart, I'm gonna go ahead and disassemble the main axle and get it painted so that everything looks spiffy (resale value in mind).
